ROLLIN HOLTAN
WHITEHALL, Wis.-Rollin A. Holtan, 65, locker plant operator here for nearly 30 years, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, Feb. 24, 1968, at his home. He had worked until 9 p.m.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Clifford Ritland officiating, and burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Friends were to call until 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home, and Tuesday from noon until the service at the church.
Mr. Holtan was born Dec. 6, 1902, at Stoughton to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Holtan. He graduated from Whitehall High School and attended La Crosse State University.
He married Luella Hammerstad Sept. 2, 1924. The couple operated a drug store in Whitehall for a time before taking over the Whitehall Locker Plant, which they had operated ever since.
Mr. Holtan is survived by his widow; two sons, Wilbur and Quinn, both of Whitehall; six grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert of Whitehall.
